Welcome!
Thanks for applying to Northeastern Technical College!
The college adheres to
an open-admissions policy. Before a student is admitted to any
curriculum, an interview is conducted and, in many cases, a
placement test is scheduled. This process aids students in
evaluating their potential for success in the chosen curriculum.
As a post-secondary institution, only
applicants with a high school diploma, or equivalent, will be
admitted to degree and diploma programs. Non-high school graduates
may be admitted as career development students. For more information about admission requirements see pages 20 to 25 of the Course Catalog and Student Handbook (Link to PDF File) ,
call the Admissions Office at (843) 921-6933 or 1-800-921-7399
(outside the Cheraw calling area). More information
about GED Examination Dates.

In 2008, the graduation rate
for first-time college students who entered this college on a
full-time basis in the Fall semester of 2005 was 19.2%. This
percentage ONLY includes graduates who completed a program of study
within 150% of "normal time." "Normal time" is defined as the amount
of time necessary for a student to complete all course requirements
for a degree or certificate program (as specified in the college
catalog for each program). In addition, 6.1% of Fall 2005
first-time, full-time college students transferred out of the
institution to a higher level program. |
