NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE
In accordance with the policies and procedures of the South Carolina State Office of Human Resources and the South Carolina State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education (SBTCE), Northeastern Technical College annually evaluates the effectiveness of its administrators, including the chief executive officer. SBTCE Policy 8-4-100 and SBTCE Procedure 8-4-100.2 outline the procedures for establishment and administration of the Employee Performance Management System (EPMS). SBTCE Policy 8-4-101 and SBTCE Procedure 8-4-101.1 outline the procedures for establishment and administration of the Faculty Performance Management System (FPMS).
The evaluation period for vice presidents is Fiscal Year July 1-June 30 and other administrators are evaluated annually based on review dates. The College President’s review date is January-December; this review is conducted by the Board of Trustees. Templates for the Employee Performance Management System and the Faculty Performance Management System may be accessed from the College’s shared file system and the Human Resources Office. The Human Resources Office maintains completed evaluation forms in the employee’s personnel file.
