Important Information for Online Students:

Current Students:
See your advisor to register for an online class. You cannot drop and enroll in the same class during the same term.

New Students:
Submit your admission application first.

All Students:
After registration is complete, you should log into your course no less than once per week and on any other dates listed in your course syllabus.   You should submit work and take tests by the deadlines established.  If you fail to meet deadlines or miss making contact with your instructor for a week, the instructor may drop you for “absences.”  It is your responsibility to keep your instructor informed about your participation in the class.  If you must miss a deadline or a logon, notify the instructor in advance.

If you find that you’re unable to complete a course, notify the instructor immediately by e-mail (and send a copy of the e-mail Distance Learning Coordinator at NETC). Also, you should complete a Drop form for NETC to make sure that you are withdrawn from the class.  This may prevent your earning an “F” which could affect your grade point average, and depending on the time of the semester, may entitle you to a refund or prevent your having to pay back financial aid award funds.  (You must attend 60% of the semester for eligibility for 100% of financial aid funds. If you do not, the 100% awarded must be reduced.)

Your NETC contact is Distrance Learning Coordinator, Michael Kaltwang (email or 843-921-6959 or 800-921-7399, ext. 6959).  If there is any question about your online class procedures, you should contact him.  If there are questions about your course information, contact your instructor.
