Program/Course Description

NETC's business program is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of the intricacies of the world of business and industry. Course work includes a practical study of management, computers, accounting, organizing, planning, production and supervision.

Career Options

Entrepreneurs operate many businesses including service, merchandising and manufacturing firms. New technology is essential in order to survive in today's business world. E-commerce, the new type of Internet business, is constantly expanding. Business leaders must know how to work and communicate with people, manage their accounts, market their company, and abide by federal, state and local laws.

Careers a business graduate from NETC can enter include finance, banking, sales, human resources, office management and administrative management. Some of these careers mix business, management and marketing, providing individuals with a variety of experience and knowledge of the business world.

Job Outlook

Business leaders and accountants are always in demand. Recent trends show that many people are starting their own small businesses. With the popularity of the Internet, many small, individually-owned businesses have become household names.
