NETC's Continuing Education Division provides opportunities for career training, short-term courses, upgrading and personal interest courses in vocational professional areas. This division also provides special services to help meet the educational needs of business, industrial and professional concerns. This includes workshops, lectures and special training projects. The division also offers coordinating and planning services for business, industry and agencies.

Registration -- Requirements for admission to the various courses in Continuing Education depend on the nature of the course involved. Generally, the student enrolls in the selected course by completing general information and paying fees. Information on the courses may be obtained by contacting the Office of Continuing Education at the college.

Cancellation & Refunds -- NETC may cancel Continuing Education classes due to insufficient enrollment.  A minimum number of students is required for each course to be taught.  The class is ususally cancelled if fewer than the minimum number are enrolled by the start of the class.  Tuition will be refunded in full if the college cancels the class.  If the class is taught and the student fails to attend, or drops the class without advance withdrawal, no refund is given. 

Students under the age of 16 may take classes with the written approval of parent or guardian; however, some classes are not available to minors due to SC laws or instructor discretion.  Senior citizens pay the same fees as advertised for all classes.
