Free classes designed to help individuals assess their career skills and to explore relevant career pathways through an education at Northeastern Technical College will be offered July 20 through July 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the main campus in Cheraw in room 539. Success Skills classes are open to single parents, homemakers and individuals who are interested in nontraditional careers. Participants will receive advising and information about potential career pathways and the relevant training available at NETC. Each participant will receive help in locating tuition assistance. Available assistance may include financial support in areas such as books, childcare, and transportation for qualified students. Participants must have a high school diploma or GED and attend all four skills classes in order to qualify for assistance through these special programs. Participants must also bring their 2014 income tax information to class for fall semester financial aid purposes.
