Christine Smith has a long history with NETC. Not only did she graduate from here, she has been an instructor at NETC for 27 years. She enjoys working with students and helping them to complete their program of study. She always encourages them to do their best and to know that anything can be accomplished with the right mindset. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, fishing and taking care of her cats.
Mrs. Smith earned an Associate of Business in secretarial science, a diploma in automated office and a certificate in word processing from NETC, which was then called Chesterfield-Marlboro Technical College. Before becoming an instructor at NETC, she was an administrative specialist for three years with the U.S. Army.
Students in Mrs. Smith’s class will learn the technical and business skills needed to work in a modern office, and they will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs. In her class, students will receive encouragement and support in a positive learning environment.
