Holly Copeland graduated the Practical Nursing program at NETC and is now using her 20 years of nursing experience as an instructor. Working as a nurse in a variety of healthcare settings has provided her with the skills and experience to be a well-rounded educator and a great advocate for future nurses. She takes her profession seriously and holds the field of nursing close to her heart. She is devoted to continuing her own education, so that she will be an even greater resource to her students. She takes satisfaction in watching her students grow and flourish as knowledgeable and skilled nurses. Mrs. Copeland is a firm believer that in order to be a great nurse, your heart needs to be in it.
Mrs. Copeland earned a Practical Nursing License at Northeastern Technical College, her Associate Degree in Nursing from Regents College in Albany, New York, and completed her clinicals in Atlanta, Ga. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Her professional experiences range from nursing homes, home health care, medical-surgical nursing, skilled nursing, newborn nursery and labor and delivery, ER and ICU. She has also served as a house-supervisor in hospital settings and has been a charge nurse throughout her nursing career.
Students in Ms. Copeland’s class will learn how to engage with the instructor in clinical, lab and classroom settings. They will become critical thinkers and learn to apply their nursing knowledge to real-life scenarios. Students will learn to work diligently and prudently in order to become nursing professionals and function as such outside the school settings upon completion of the program.
