Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Community College Transfer Scholarship Program

This program annually awards 200 scholarships, of $1,250 and $2,500 to students transferiing from a tw-year college to a four-year institution. Students applying may be transferring to any U.S. accredited four-year institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam in fall of 2008 or Spring of 2009.

Basic eligibility:

▪ Must be of Hispanci heritage.
▪ Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
▪ Be currently enrolled part-time or fulll-time at a community college
▪ Have plans to transfer and enroll full-time at a four-year, U.S. - accredited institution
▪ Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
▪ Must apply for federal financial aid using FAFSA
