JEANNETTE RANKIN FOUNDATION GRANT
Since 1978, the Jeannette Rankin Foundation (JRF) has helped nearly 500 low-income women attend college. In the fall of 2007, JRF will award $2000 grants to at least 50 more women across the U.S.
A Jeannette Rankin Foundation grant applicant:
▪ Must be a woman
▪ A U. S. citizen
▪ Age 35 or older*
▪ Low-income (financial guidelines are available at www.rankinfoundation.org and on the first page of the application packet)
▪ Enrolled in, or accepted to, a regionally accredited school
▪Pursuing a technical/vocational education, an associate’s degree, or a first bachelor’s degree.
All
qualified students are encouraged to apply.
A packet containing the completed application materials must be postmarked by a designated deadline date* and mailed to:

Packets should be mailed using first class postage. JRF will accept any application postmarked six days before the deadline*, so it is not necessary to send your application by UPS, Fed-Ex, or overnight delivery. Applications will not be accepted by fax or e-mail. Before mailing, remove the instruction sheet to keep for your records.
