South Carolina Tax Council Scholarship
The South Carolina Tax Council was founded in 1976 for the purpose of promoting education and professionalism in the fields of accounting and taxation. Membership is composed of 300 accounting and tax practioners
The Council will award three $1000.000 scholarship to three qualified applicants. Scholarships are only offered to rising second year students in two-year South Carolina colleges and rising seniors in South Carolina colleges and universities and 5th year of masters program.
Basic Eligibility:
- Must be a South Carolina resident
- Must be majoring in Accounting or Taxation at a South Carolina college or university
- Must be a rising second year student at a two-year institution or a rising senior at a four-year institution or 5th year of a master program
- Must have a cumulative GPR of at least 3.0 in major and 3.0 overall on a 4.0 scale
Application Deadline:
- Applications should be submitted by May 15 of the year prior to the year of anticipated college attendance.
