How to Get Started
High School Admissions & Registration Process
Follow these easy steps to begin your pathway to being College Prepared at Northeastern Technical College as a junior or senior in high school.
1. Admissions and Financial Aid
Complete the admissions process so we can get to know you and your career aspirations. You will want to attend a pre-registration event if applicable.
2. Assessment
If you plan on enrolling in English or Math classes, submit a copy of your SAT or ACT scores with your Permission Form.
Required scores: SAT - Critical Reading 480, Math 480 or ACT - Composite 20
COMPASS Placement Testing
If you do not have the appropriate test scores, contact the NETC Admissions Office at the campus nearest you to schedule an appointment for COMPASS placement testing.

3. Advising and Registration
Attend SOAR (Student Orientation & Accelerated Registration) or other early registration event when available. Meet with your advisor to select courses. Pay tuition/fees by the NETC deadline and complete the registration process.
4. Keep Your Counselor Informed
Take a copy of your NETC schedule to your high school guidance counselor prior to the start of HS classes.
