31 students graduate Nurse Assisting program

SP22 NA Graduates

31 students graduated from Northeastern Technical College's Nursing Assistant (NA) Program on May 10. The program consists of 95 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours of supervised clinical training.
The Nurse Assisting Class of 2022 includes:

Ellerbe of Cheraw, Jaliya M. Jacobs of Bennettsville, Diane Jones of Bennettsville, Lemeca Lidge of Dillon, Shaqaza Manning of Dillon, Ronald McCall of McColl, Tunisha McCray of Lakeview, Angela McLaughlin of McColl, Latasia S. Upon completion of the course, graduates acquire the academic and practical skills necessary to successfully complete the Nursing Assistant Certification Exam. This exam is required by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control for employment as nurse aides and certified nursing assistants (CNA).
The Nurse Assisting program is offered every semester at Northeastern Technical College and lasts approximately 7.5 weeks. Financial assistance is available through federal grants and SNAP recipients may qualify for 100% scholarship funding through the SNAP2Work program.
