Continuing Education Courses Offered at NETC this Spring

Hundreds of courses designed for people looking for new job skills or advancement in the workplace or personal enrichment, will be offered this spring by Northeastern Technical College's division of continuing education.

Courses for new job skills or advancement in the workplace including Community Health Worker, Certified Nursing Assistant, SCMC Production Technician, and Microsoft Office programs, begin in January.

Some of the continuing education programs have funding available, such as the SCMC production technician program, which offers 100% scholarships for eligible SC residents. Funding for many of the new job skill courses, such as community health worker and nursing assistant are available through the SNAP2Work program.

Personal enrichment courses including the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success course, defensive driving, gunsmithing, and metal art classes will be offered at the main campus or at one of NETC's community campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville or Dillon.

A wide selection of online courses for personal enrichment, new job skills or advancement in the workplace is also available.

To obtain a complete list of offerings contact the division of continuing education at 921-6920 or 1-800-921-7399 and choose option 4. Course offerings are also available by visiting www.netc.edu, and clicking on the "Continuing Education" tab.

All continuing education courses are offered as non-college credit courses, typically meet once a week and last for a shorter period of time than regular semester long classes.
