NETC Announces Employees of the Year

Northeastern Technical College (NETC) has announced its Employees of the Year for 2022, recognizing exceptional performance in Administration, Faculty, and Staff categories. The winners were awarded at the South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) Conference held on February 17-18 in Myrtle Beach.

Denise McClintock, Research and Planning Administrator, was named Staff Member of the Year for her dedication and commitment to supporting the college's mission and goals. Her contributions to NETC have been instrumental in enhancing the effectiveness of institutional research and data-driven decision-making.

Latonya Hunter, CNA/Phlebotomy Instructor, was named Faculty Member of the Year for her outstanding teaching and mentoring skills. She has been instrumental in the success of the CNA and Phlebotomy programs at NETC, and her students consistently achieve high pass rates on their certification exams.

Josh Britt, Director of Information Technology (IT), was named Administrator of the Year for his exceptional leadership, dedication, and innovation in managing the college's IT department. His efforts have significantly enhanced the college's technological infrastructure and provided outstanding support to students, faculty, and staff.

"We are incredibly proud of Denise, Latonya, and Josh, and we are grateful for their contributions to Northeastern Technical College," said Dr. Kyle Wagner, President of NETC. "Their commitment to excellence and dedication to our students and the college community have been exceptional, and they are truly deserving of these awards."

The SCTEA Conference is an annual event that brings together technical education professionals from across South Carolina to discuss emerging trends and best practices in technical education. NETC is a proud member of the SCTEA and supports its mission of promoting and advancing technical education in the state.
