NETC Opens McBee Satellite Campus for Fall Classes

Northeastern Technical College (NETC) is excited to announce the opening of its McBee Satellite Campus, with evening classes starting on September 16. The campus, located at 399 E. Cedar Avenue, McBee, SC, will begin by offering certificate programs in ARC Welding and Pre-Engineering Electrical I.
The McBee Satellite Campus is part of NETC's ongoing commitment to expanding educational opportunities across its service area. By providing workforce training and higher education in a more accessible location, NETC aims to better serve the needs of the community.
Dr. Wagner, President of Northeastern Technical College, emphasized the importance of this new campus in fulfilling the college's mission. In addition to the initial certificate programs, NETC plans to expand its offerings at the McBee Campus for the Spring 2025 semester, which begins in January. New programs will include additional welding certificates, Plant Maintenance, and Pre-Engineering Mechanical. These expanded offerings will further enhance the educational opportunities available to students and support the growing demand for skilled workers in the region.
