NETC offers 3-Week Wintermester online

Northeastern Technical College is now offering students a way to accelerate their college education with the new 3-Week Wintermester, which will run December 17-January 4.

Current NETC students, high school students, and transient students (students enrolled in other colleges and universities), are invited to take advantage of the Wintermester opportunity during their Christmas break.

The 3-week classes are all 100% online and transferrable to four-year colleges and universities.

For students who are working toward a bachelor's degree at another university, the Wintermester will give them the opportunity to pay a fraction of the cost of normal tuition fees and still receive a quality education.

This holiday, the following online classes will be available: CPT-101: Introduction to computers; ENG-101: English composition; MAT-110: College algebra; MAT-155: Contemporary mathmatics; SOC-101: Introduction to sociology; and SOC-205: Social problems.

An NETC admission application may be filled out and submitted online by visiting www.netc.edu, clicking on "Admissions" and then clicking on "Apply Online Now" in the box on the right side of the page.

Transient students attending Wintermester must provide NETC a transient approval form from their home institution (the college that will issue your degree, diploma or certificate), and also work with the home institution's financial aid office to determine eligibility for financial assistance during the Wintermester.
