Northeastern Technical College Launches Nationwide Search for Next President

Northeastern Technical College (NETC) has launched a nationwide search for its next President in partnership with the South Carolina Technical College System Office.

The College is seeking a visionary leader who will continue to advance NETC's mission of providing high-quality education, workforce training, and student success programs to the communities it serves. The successful candidate will guide the College's strategic initiatives, foster strong partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, and ensure the continued growth and excellence of NETC's programs.

"This is a pivotal moment for Northeastern Technical College," said Area Commission Chairman, Mr. Herbert H. Gould. "We are committed to finding a leader who will build on our strong foundation, inspire our faculty and staff, and lead NETC into its next chapter of innovation and student success."

NETC is a comprehensive, public, two-year institution offering 51 programs across business, health sciences, industrial and engineering technology, public service, and arts and sciences. In Fall 2025, the College served 1,583 students and employed more than 190 full-time and adjunct faculty and staff.

Applicants must possess at least a master's degree, with an earned doctorate preferred, plus ten (10) years of experience as an academic executive and/or administrative leader, preferably in a technical or community college setting. A strong record in strategic planning, program innovation, and community and economic engagement is also a must.
