NETC Students Inducted into National Honor Society
Several students of Northeastern Technical College were recently honored for their outstanding achievement while enrolled in career and occupational programs at the college. Students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), an organization established in 1984 to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities.
Bruce Brumfield, president and CEO of Founders Federal Credit Union was the guest speaker and encouraged the students to do the right thing, to always play and to win and to never quit despite academic and personal challenges.
Students from Northeastern Technical College who were inducted into the society during the ceremony were Mary B Allen, of Pageland, Doris D. Bryson, of Mt. Croghan, Daniel Davide, of Cheraw, Brenda A. Lane, of Marion, James M. Melton, of Cheraw, John H. Moody, Jr., of Bennettsville, Heather A. Pate, of Wallace, Mark A. Rogers, of Pageland, Felicia M. Thomas, of Clio, and Joyce W. Tucker, of Jefferson.
