Application Deadline for Summer Term at NETC is May 8:  Classes Start May 21  

Financial Aid and admission applications for summer term enrollment at Northeastern Technical College are due on Tuesday, May 8.  Summer term classes start on May 21. 

Submission of these applications on or before May 8 will give applicants first priority in having their applications processed to better ensure that their admission status and financial aid awards (if eligible) are finalized before the beginning of the summer semester.

Failing to submit financial aid applications before the May 8 deadline may lead to a delay in starting classes on time. 

“We set the May 8 deadline so that financial aid applications have adequate time to be processed and financial aid awards distributed before the start of the summer term,” said Dr. Jerry Robertson, vice president for student services at NETC.  “We want to stress that if financial aid applications are received after the May 8 deadline, students run the risk of not receiving their financial aid awards, which could cause them to start the term behind schedule.”

NETC admission and financial aid applications are available on the college’s website at www.netc.edu, and clicking “Admissions” and “Financial Aid,” or by visiting one of NETC’s campuses in Cheraw, Dillon, Bennettsville or Pageland.  Financial aid applications may also be completed and submitted online at WWW.FAFSA.ED.GOV.
