Nursing Assistant (CNA) Class to Start at McLeod Medical Center on June 25

Northeastern Technical College and McLeod Medical Center Dillon have partnered to offer an 8-week nursing assistant training class beginning June 25.

Classes will be held at the McLeod Medical Center Dillon two days a week on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 – 5:00pm.  The class will be taught by Sheila McDaniel, a registered nurse at McLeod Medical Center. 

The course is designed to provide the academic and practical skills necessary for students to successfully complete the Nursing Assistant Certification Exam required by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services for nurse aides and assistants.

Information recently released by the South Carolina Employment Security Commission listed nursing as one of the hottest career in the Pee Dee region base on promising growth outlooks.
