NETC Students Inducted into National Honor Society

Several students of Northeastern Technical College were recently honored for their outstanding achievement while enrolled in career and occupational programs at the college.  Students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), during a ceremony held on the campus of NETC in Cheraw.

The NTHS was established in 1984 to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities. 

Melvin Miller, vice president of commercial lending at the South Carolina Community Bank was the guest speaker.  The ceremony recognized students from NETC as well as high school students from the Chesterfield County School District.
