Second Spring Online Classes Available
New or current students interested in taking a college credit classes this Spring have another opportunity to enroll. More than 20 Second Spring classes will begin on February 18 and last through May 2. The deadline for registration is February 13.
Courses will be offered online and include general education classes that will transfer to four-year universities. Program specific courses are also available including business, computer technology, history and psychology.
“We love taking classes online because it’s convenient,” said Amanda Graham, of Bennettsville. Amanda and her husband Keith have four young children to raise and appreciate the time savings. “Instead of having to drive to class, we can walk to our computer at home and get right to work.”
Amanda is taking classes to transfer to Francis Marion University. Keith Graham completed an associate in arts degree this past summer and is now working toward the associate degree in nursing.
“We’ve probably taken at least 50 percent of our classes online because it fits into all that we have to juggle,” said Graham.
All Second Spring courses are 10-week sessions starting on February 18 and ending on May 2.
New students submit applications for admission online by clicking on Admissions or visit one of the college campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville or Dillon.
Current students should see their advisor to add the class. There are no additional tuition charges to add a Second Spring class for students who are enrolled full time.
A complete list of courses is available by clicking on Second Spring Classes. Financial Aid is available, but applications are required and must be submitted in advance.
The deadline for registration is February 13. Call 1-800-921-7399 or visit the Second Spring Classes page for more information.
