Sentry Makes Contribution to NETC Foundation for Nursing Program

Photo of check presentation.John Long (right), president and chief executive officer of Cheraw’s Sentry Bank and Trust, recently presented Jimmie Williamson (left), president of Northeastern Technical College, a financial contribution to the Northeastern Technical College Foundation to support the college’s new associate degree in nursing (ADN) program. 

The program began this fall semester and is a two-year program that prepares graduates to take the national licensure exam to become a registered nurse (RN).  Students will be accepted into the program every fall semester.

The college also offers a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program which accepts students at the beginning of every spring semester.  Applications are currently being accepted and the deadline for submission is September 21 at 1pm.
