NETC Now Offering Home Inspection Training Course
Northeastern Technical College has teamed with American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT) Institute to offer a new class opportunity for individuals interested in maximizing their potential in the home inspection industry.
Classes will be offered online and through home study. Once a student has completed the course and necessary licensing requirements, they are prepared to join an established inspection firm or start their own business as a licensed home inspector.
“This new program will prepare our students to perform comprehensive home inspections,” said Sherrie Chapman, dean of continuing education at Northeastern Technical College. “They will also receive training in marketing, sales, reporting systems and techniques so those who complete the program successfully will have the tools they need operate a home inspection company.”
AHIT has been training inspectors for over 12 years and has a 95 percent graduation rate. For more information, call 843-921-6924, 843-921-6923 or, visit www.netc.edu, click on “Continuing Ed” and scroll down to view the “Career Pathways” box and click on “Home Inspector Training.”
