NETC Minimester Courses Start February 23
New or current students interested in taking, or adding, another college credit course this spring have another opportunity to start at Northeastern Technical College this month. More than 35 Minimester courses will begin on February 23 and the deadline for registration is February 20.
Minimester courses are 9-week college credit courses offered by Northeastern Technical College that meet approximately 4 hours per week. Courses are offered online or oncampus at each of the college’s campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville and Dillon.
Available online courses (see list on right) include keyboarding, medical office terminology, office communications, business law, introduction to Ecommerce, African American history, marketing, retailer, introduction to computer and elementary Spanish.
Available oncampus courses (see list on right) include business, introduction to computers, English composition, math and machine tool classes in Cheraw; an English and composition course in Bennettsville; a reading course in Dillon; and composition, math and reading courses in Pageland. Each of these course will be held twice a week during the evening beginning at 6pm.
Financial Aid is available, but applications are required and must be submitted in advance.
New students can submit applications for admission online through February 19 by visiting the Admissions page and clicking on "Apply Online Now".
Paper based applications will be accepted at one of the college campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville or Dillon through February 20. For more information call 1-800-921-7399 and choose “1” for admissions.

Current students interested in adding another class should see their advisor. There are no additional tuition charges to add a spring Minimester class for students who are enrolled full time.
