NETC Students Inducted into National Honor Society
Several students of Northeastern Technical College were recently honored for their outstanding achievement while enrolled in career and occupational programs at the college. Students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), during a ceremony held on the campus of NETC in Cheraw.
The NTHS was established in 1984 to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities. NTHS is the highest award to honor excellence in career and technical education in the United States.
J.R. Green, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction for the Chesterfield County School District was the featured speaker. The ceremony recognized students from NETC as well as high school students from the Chesterfield County School District.
