Continuing Education Summer Courses Announced
Hundreds of courses designed for people looking for personal enrichment, new job skills or advancement in the workplace will be offered this summer by Northeastern Technical College’s division of continuing education.
Personal enrichment courses including photography, sign language, SAT preparation, Spanish, floral design, and cake decoration will be offered oncampus at one of NETC’s community campuses in Cheraw, Dillon, Bennettsville, or Pageland.
Courses for new job skills or advancement in the workplace including certified nursing assistant training, heavy equipment operator training, private investigator training, and Microsoft Professional Office 2007 will also be offered oncampus at reasonable prices.
New courses in construction/pre-pipe welding, power plant fundamentals, gunsmithing, Allen Bradley SLC 500 Series PLC programming and troubleshooting, brick masonry, customer service and electrician certification training will also be offered this summer for the first time.
A wide selection of online courses is also available.

All continuing education courses are offered as non-college credit courses, typically meet once a week and last for a shorter period of time than regular semester long classes.
Registration for classes must be complete by June 5 or 10 business days prior to the first day of class.
To register, you may visit the division of continuing education on NETC’s main campus in Cheraw from 8 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You may also register for classes offered on the community campuses in Bennettsville, Pageland, or Dillon by visiting those campuses during their normal hours of operation.

Registration forms are also available on the Continuing Education webpage. Some classes are limited in size and enrollment is on a first pay, first serve basis. Tuition payment is due at the time of registration.
