Career Seminar Offered at NETC on June 3

 
Northeastern Technical College, South Carolina Employment Security Commission and the Pee Dee Workforce Development Board are offering a “Free” career seminar at NETC campus on June 3, 2009, at 8:00 AM.
 
The program will begin with registration at 8:00 AM followed by Donna Damico, director human resources at Chesterfield General Hospital as the featured speaker.  Damico will be discussing the generational impact on employment, particularly healthcare, in the coming years. She will also be addressing what qualities she looks for in a potential employee, how to perform a successful job search, the importance of continuing education, and how education sets you apart from others.

Concurrent workshops will be offered following the opening presentation. Various

topics including interviewing skills, planning a job search, WorkKeys assessments, and Labor Market Information are planned.  Below is a list of workshops and sponsoring presenters:
