Four-Day Schedule Starts Fall Semester: NETC Application Deadline is August 4

Admission applications for fall semester enrollment at Northeastern Technical College are due on Monday, August 4.  Completed applications can be submitted at NETC Cheraw or any of the college’s community campuses in Pageland, Bennettsville or Dillon.    

Hundreds of online and oncampus day and evening classes for 20 associate degree, 27 certificate and four diploma degree programs are available and proven to help students pursue pathways to a university or career.  Classes will start on August 20. 

The college also recently announced a four-day class schedule to help students save gas money when traveling to campus. Beginning in the Fall semester, classes will be held on Monday through Thursday, with Friday set aside for faculty and staff work days.  The college will remain open and access to services will continue to be available on Friday.

“The new schedule could eliminate a day of necessary travel to campus and may help students realize a 20 percent savings in travel expenses as well as possible savings in child care,” said Dr. Ron Bartley, president of Northeastern Technical College.  “It may also make it easier on our students who work hard to balance work, family and school schedules as they purse their pathways to a future.” 

NETC admission applications are available by visiting the college’s website at www.netc.edu , and clicking “Admissions”.  Applications can be submitted online or printed and submitted in person at any of NETC’s campuses.
