NETC Employees Honored On Retirement

Northeastern Technical College recently recognized several employees who are retiring after many years of service in their current capacity, including a number who have been with the college for almost its entire history.

NETC President Dr. Ron Bartley expressed appreciation to the retiring employees.  “The true strength of any organization lies in its employees,  and Northeastern Technical College is fortunate to have a team of very talented, dedicated and caring individuals.   During the past several months, several members of our team have retired after many years of service to the college, and it is a privilege to recognize them for their dedication and their many contributions.”   

Here is a list of retiring employees, with job title and length of service at NETC:

• Deborah C. Toler, administrative specialist in Continuing Education Division; 36 years.
• Robert L. Smith, dean of Business and Technologies Division and faculty member; 31 years.
• Sandra H. Barbour, vice president for instruction; 31 years.
• Beatrice J. Sloop, math faculty; 15 years.
• Mary R. McLain, success center coordinator; 13 years.
• Polly R. McLain, computer technology faculty; nine years.
