NETC Announces Minimester Classes
New or current students interested in taking a college credit class this Fall have another opportunity to enroll or add a class at Northeastern Technical College. More than 30 Minimester classes will begin on September 30 and last through December 2. The deadline for registration is September 30.
Minimester courses are 10-week college credit courses offered by Northeastern Technical College that meet approximately 3 hours per week. Courses are offered online or oncampus.
Online classes include accounting, biology, business, computer, economics, English, history, math, management, advertising, music, psychology, and sociology.
Oncampus classes include a business, computer and reading class in Cheraw, a management, English and math class in Bennettsville, English classes in Dillon and Pageland and an air conditioning and refrigeration class on the campus of Chesterfield High School. These classes will be held at night beginning at 6 pm.
New students submit applications for admission online by visiting the Admissions webpage or by visiting one of the college campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville or Dillon. Financial Aid is available, but applications are required and must be submitted in advance.
Current students should see their advisor to add the class. There are no additional tuition charges to add a fall Minimester class for students who are enrolled full time.
The deadline for registration is September 30.
