Coker College to Offer Classes on the Campus of NETC

A partnership between Coker College and Northeastern Technical College will make it possible for students to take bachelor degree classes on the campus of Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw.

Classes will begin in the Spring 2009 semester and will be offered during two eight-week terms.  Third-year classes in business, criminology, education, psychology and social work will be offered on Tuesday nights from 5:00 – 10:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm.

Any student with an associate degree or two years of college course credit, including alumni of Northeastern Technical College is eligible. Financial aid is available.  Enrollment in Coker College and NETC classes at the same time is not permitted. 

On Tuesday, October 7, Coker College admission representatives will be the campus of NETC Cheraw to discuss these classes and the application process. Information sessions will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the auditorium.  To learn more about this opportunity, NETC alumni or current students should attend one the information sessions.  

Anyone without an associate degree and interested in starting their pathway to a college degree at Northeastern Technical College is also welcome to attend these sessions.  An admissions representative from Northeastern Technical College will also be available to answer questions.
