NETC Offers Heavy Equipment Operator Program
Northeastern Technical College’s division of continuing education is now offering a basic level training program in heavy equipment operation.
Courses in backhoe, excavator, bulldozer and front end loader are available to students with little or no heavy equipment experience. Students will receive classroom and hands-on training with an emphasis on safe operation, routine maintenance, and fundamental operation techniques.
Basic level course last four days from 8 am to 5 pm and cost $1045.00 per course. Backhoe classes begins on October 13, Excavator classes begins on October 20, Bulldozer classes begins on November 3, Front End Loader classes begins on October 6 and again on November 10.
Northeastern Technical College’s Heavy Equipment Operator Program was developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), a nonprofit education foundation created to develop industry driven standardized craft training programs with portable credentials, and is taught by NCCER accredited instructors.
