One Day Identity Theft Workshop offered at NETC
An identity theft workshop will be held on October 17 from 9 am to 12 noon on the campus of Northeastern Technical College in Cheraw.
Participants in this workshop will learn how to prevent fraud and identity theft and what to do if they become a victim. They will also learn about the organizations, agencies and resources available when dealing with real or potential identity theft or security issues.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Ron Bartley, president of Northeastern Technical College. Bartley served as regional director of the Virginia Electronic Commerce Technology Center in 2005, in addition to working closely with the Office of the Attorney General in Virginia, the regional office of the FBI in Virginia and Tennessee, officials from Paypal, and other agencies on issues of identity theft and fraud.
