Ward Clerk Class Starts at NETC Dillon on March 23

Northeastern Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education is offering a 10-week Ward Clerk class on the campus of NETC Dillon beginning March 23.  The class will meet once a week from 6 - 8:30 pm and the cost $160.

Ward clerks perform a variety of receptionist and clerical duties in hospital nursing units including patient records management; preparation of requisition forms for laboratory tests, therapy, drugs, and supplies for their unit; patient transfer coordination; answering telephone calls and relaying messages; distributing mail, newspaper and flowers to patients and general visitor relations.
