Free Career Readiness Classes at NETC

Northeastern Technical College, in partnership with the Marlboro and Dillon County Adult Education Centers and Community Development Corporation will provide free career readiness classes September 28 – October 29 from 9am to 1pm.  Classes will be held on the campus of NETC Bennettsville, Marlboro County Adult Education Center and NETC Dillon.

The classes are provided through the Rural Economic Workforce Alliance for Resource Development (REWARD) Program and are geared toward individuals who anticipate becoming employed or for those who would like to explore how local educational opportunities can enhance their future career goals and dreams. 

Participants will experience activities and lectures designed to enhance their reading and writing, interviewing, resume writing, professional communication and team building skill.  There will also be opportunities for work skills assessment and career exploration.

In the Dillon area, applications for the REWARD program may be obtained at the Dillon County One Stop or at the NETC Dillon campus located at 2204 Highway 301 South.  In Marlboro County, applications may be obtained a the South Carolina Employment Security Commission, Marlboro County Adult Education or NETC Bennettsville located at 131 South Marlboro Street.

Completion of this program carries no employment guarantee, but participates will enhance their job seeking skills, qualification and knowledge of educational opportunities at Northeastern Technical College.
