2009 Infection Control Update Offered on October 16
Northeastern Technical College’s division of continuing education is offering a day long workshop on infection prevention and control programs for nurses, acute care managers and staff, and any interested healthcare providers.
The workshop will be held at Marlboro Park Hospital Senior Circle located at 212 East Main Street in Bennettsville on October 16 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. AHEC clock hours and nursing contact hours will be awarded to those who complete the workshop.
Participants will learn about the elements of an effective infection prevention and control program, the various populations affected by the program, and the risk of H1N1 influenza infection and recommended prevention strategies.
