Spring Minimester Courses Start Feb. 14
New or current students interested in taking, or adding, a college credit course this spring have another opportunity to start at Northeastern Technical College this month. More than 15 Minimester courses will begin Feb. 14 and will be offered online and on campus. Students currently enrolled full time can add a Minimester course with no additional tuition fees.
Minimester courses are 10-week college credit courses offered by Northeastern Technical College that meet approximately four hours per week on campus or online at your convenience. Minimester oncampus courses are offered at each of the college’s campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville and Dillon.
Available online courses include accounting, introduction to computers, microcomputer database and spreadsheet, college algebra, American history, probability and statistics, and introduction to sociology.
Available oncampus courses include human growth and development, art history and appreciation, business law, introduction to computers, office management, developmental English, English composition, introduction to early childhood, marketing, and general psychology. Oncampus courses will be held once a week during the evening from 6 to 10 p.m. A day class, human growth and development, will be held twice a week in Cheraw on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 to 10 a.m.
Financial Aid is available, but applications are required and must be submitted in advance.
New students can submit applications for admission online through Feb. 14 by clicking on Apply Online Now.
Paper based applications are available and will be accepted at any of the college campuses in Pageland, Cheraw, Bennettsville or Dillon through Feb. 14. For more information, call 1-800-921-7399 and choose option 1 for admissions.

Current students interested in adding another class should see their advisor. There are no additional tuition charges to add a fall Minimester class for students who are enrolled full time. |
