NETC To Offer Valuable Job Training at Pageland Campus
Do you want to learn skills that industries and businesses are looking for in potential employees? Northeastern Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education will offer two new courses at its Pageland Community Campus that will provide students with marketable job skills.
Students who enroll in the Blueprint Reading and Sketching class will develop a solid foundation for reading and interpreting industrial drawings (blueprints) and preparing technical sketches. Learning to read blueprints is a required skill in many types of construction and manufacturing fields.
The class will be held Tuesdays beginning March 6 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for 10 weeks at the Pageland Community Campus.
Cost is $249 plus the purchase of a textbook.
Students who complete this class and would like to further their knowledge can enroll in the second course offering. The Basics of AutoCAD, a computer assisted drafting/drawing program, will be held Tuesdays beginning June 5 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for 10 weeks at the Pageland Community Campus.
Blueprint Reading and Sketching is a prerequisite to this class. Cost is $295 plus the purchase of a textbook.
