Students Explore Health and Education Careers at NETC

Debbie Spells, Chesterfield General Hospital’s Director of Medicine, Surgery and ICU, (above left) talks to students from Lake View High School about professional etiquette during the Health & Education Careers Symposium held Nov. 28 at Northeastern Technical College’s main campus in Cheraw. Pictured above right are Lake View High School students exploring the inside of an ambulance. Nearly 250 students and chaperones from nine local high schools and one middle school gained valuable knowledge about careers in the health and education fields through exhibits, workshops and speakers who partnered with NETC to put on the event. Visiting Dillon County students were from Dillon High School, Dillon ATEC Health Science class, JV Martin, and Lake View High School.
