Janet Jordan was once sitting in a classroom at NETC learning business skills, so she relates well to her students when she is teaching and makes the learning experience a personal one. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with students and helping them build a future on a firm foundation. Outside of the classroom, she loves sports and plays softball and volleyball. She is a huge fan of football and basketball and also sings in a choir and at weddings.
Ms. Jordan received an Associate in Computer Technology from NETC. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in accountancy and Master of Accountancy from Gardner-Webb University. She is currently working on a Master of Business Administration from Gardner-Webb. Before coming to work at NETC in 2010, she was a lead Medicare representative and a denied claims manager for CMC Union Hospital. She is a volunteer for the March of Dimes, Relay for Life and American Heart Association.
Students in Ms. Jordan’s class will learn all aspects of accounting – from basic to advanced, mathematics, finance building, ethical business decision making as well as personal decision making. Students in her class will find a nurturing environment where student and teacher learn together.
