Admissions Policy

NETC adheres to an open‑admissions policy. As a post‑secondary institution, only applicants with a high school diploma, or equivalent, will be admitted as curriculum students. Non‑high school graduates may be admitted as dual enrollment or career development students or be admitted in certain certificate programs. Before a student is admitted to any curriculum, an interview is conducted and, in many cases, a placement test is scheduled. This process aids students in evaluating their potential for success in the chosen curriculum. Visit Testing Information.

Estimate Your College Costs

You and your family can estimate the cost of attending NETC by using the Net Price Calculator based on your family situation and the college's financial aid funds.

Please note that an estimate from the Net Price Calculator is not final, is not binding, and may change. The student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) to be eligible for, and to possibly receive, federal student aid funds.

The Student Right-to-Know Act

The Student Right-to-Know Act was enacted in 1990 by federal law. The law requires institutions that receive Title IV HEA student financial aid to collect, report and/or disclose graduation rates for full-time, first-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students and students receiving athletically related student aid. See IPEDS.

Disclosure of Graduation and Transfer Rates Under the Student Right-To-Know Act

In 2013, the graduation rate for first-time college students who entered this college on a full-time basis in the Fall semester of 2010 was 14.3%. This percentage ONLY includes graduates who completed a program of study within 150% of "normal time." "Normal time" is defined as the amount of time necessary for a student to complete all course requirements for a degree or certificate program (as specified in the college catalog for each program). In addition, 10.8% of Fall 2010 first-time, full-time college students transferred out of the institution to a higher level program.
