NETC Crisis Management Plan

Northeastern Technical College is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all members and guests of the campus community.

A Crisis Management Team has worked for the past year to develop a campus plan for dealing with an armed intruder or something similar that could put the entire campus in danger. The Crisis Management Team was designated by the President in September 2014. Since that time, the team has worked diligently to ensure safety through such activities as campus assessments, installation of a mass notification system, mental health first aid training, and armed intruder training. All of these measures are now in place, which has culminated with the Crisis Management Plan. The plan contains an additional number of recommendations to further secure all NETC campuses.
