The federal gender equality law - Title IX, prohibits sexual discrimination, including sexual harassment in programs and activities that receive federal funding. In general, sexual harassment includes any advances, requests for sexual favors, sexual violence, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that interferes with a student's ability to participate in or benefit from the college's programs or services, or negatively impacts an employee's work environment. Northeastern Technical College is committed to providing an environment that is free from sexual harassment/discrimination. If you believe you or someone else in the NETC community has been harassed/discriminated against based on sex, or you have questions about Title IX, please call (843) 921-6900
