NETC Staff Attend SC Women in Higher Education Conference

Staff members from Northeastern Technical College (NETC) recently attended the South Carolina Women in Higher Education (SCWHE) Conference, held February 27-28 in Columbia. This year's theme, Advancing Women in Leadership and Making Strides in South Carolina, highlighted the importance of empowering women in academia.

During the conference, attendees participated in insightful sessions such as Navigating Leadership in Academia: Women in Higher Ed as Agents for Change and Job Search Strategies for Salary Negotiation. These sessions provided valuable strategies for career growth and leadership development.

NETC staff also attended the SCWHE Awards Banquet, celebrating outstanding contributions to higher education, and took advantage of the opportunity to receive professional headshots.

SCWHE's mission is to enhance higher education in South Carolina by fostering women's leadership and active participation. NETC is proud to support this initiative, encouraging staff to engage in professional development and leadership advancement.
