NETC is a qualified employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time at NETC. To qualify for PSLF, you must:

  • be employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organization (federal service includes U.S. military service)
  • work full-time for that agency or organization
  • have Direct Loans (or consolidate other federal student loans into a Direct Loan)
  • repay your loans under an income-driven repayment plan*
  • make 120 qualifying payments

Employees may elect to join Founder's Credit Union in Chesterfield County. Employees also may join the SC State Credit Union. Please call the Human Resources Department, Founder's, or SC State Credit Union for more information.

Direct Deposit

Payroll checks will be directly deposited into your checking or savings account each pay period. Complete the direct deposit form and attach a voided deposit slip and send to the Human Resources office. If you should ever change banks or open a new account to which you want your payroll deposited, you must notify the payroll office immediately.

The PerksCard started in 1988 as an employer-sponsored savings programs for companies with more than 1,000 employees, including the State Employees of South Carolina.

Worker’s Compensation

If you are injured on the job, notify your supervisor and the Human Resources department, which will file a First Report of Injury. If medical assistance is required, you will be informed of where to seek medical care. If immediate assistance is needed, have someone call 911 and also contact the Human Resources department at (843) 921-6928.
